Criados por tecedeiras briosas nos seus lindos teares manuais ao som da natureza ou da rádio local, feitos com teia e desperdício têxtil em algodão.

Contém um apontamento em riscadilho, mais conhecido como chita às riscas , e que esteve presente na cultura têxtil portuguesa desde do séc XIX na zona da Estremadura. Foi na saia da minha bisavó que vi o riscadilho pela primeira vez .

Inspired by my grandmothers' table clothes, these table runners were born. Great to use for breakfast or for a quick meal, a lunch in the countryfield or at work.

Created by bright weavers on their beautiful handlooms to the sound of nature or local radio, made with cotton fabric and textile waste.

It contains a "riscadilho" note, better known as striped cheetah, which has been present in Portuguese textile culture since the 19th century in the Estremadura area. It was in my great-grandmother's skirt that I saw the stripe for the first time.
